Easy Dinner Fast

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 by Marnie

My guess is you’re like Matt and I, you’re wanting something new and different to eat for dinner.  How would you like it easy and fast too?  We looked through Matt’s mother’s recipes and found the “Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie” which Matt has made plenty of times before and it’s great. We saw a twist to that recipe on the Betty Crocker website,  the “Impossibly Easy Taco Pie.”

 Impossibly Easy Taco Pie

Basically, you brown some ground beef and onions, add taco seasoning mix, spread into a pie plate, top with diced green chiles and pour Bisquick mixed with milk and eggs over the top and bake.

It was easy to prepare and clean up was a snap. You can find more details on this recipe and many other tasty dinner ideas at Bettycrocker.com.

Who’s Hungry?

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 by Matt

We all like a good, hearty breakfast.  But this is no way to start the day.  First, it’s more than 1,000 calories, of which nearly 600 calories come from fat.  The cholesterol in this one meal is 231% of what you’re supposed to take in for an entire day!  No wonder they call it the “All Day Breakfast.”

How Many Barks Is Too Many?

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 by Marnie

A New Jersey Township committee proposed to put a limit on how many times a dog can bark before it becomes a crime. The proposed ordinance would make it a noise violation if a dog barked, four times a minute for over ten minutes, or two barks per minute for at least a half an hour.  “The Star Ledger” reports after an outcry from local residents, who question how this ordinance would be enforced and feared it would pit neighbor against neighbor,  the committee has dropped this proposal to work on a compromise.  Montgomery Township is not alone in dealing with the issue of barking dogs. Over 170 municipalities in New Jersey alone have dog barking regulations.

Remembering your Vegas Wedding

Sunday, July 29th, 2007 by Anne

One really cool thing the hotels offer is to have your wedding available to view on the internet.  Cashman Professional Webcasting is one of the major videographers in Vegas.  They are used by the Flamingo, Stratosphere,  Imperial Palace, Rio, The Venetian,  Luxor, MGM Grand, and Mandalay Bay, just to name a few.  I have watched a lot of the videos they have done,  and I am impressed enough that I will be using them for my wedding.  The weddings are available to view by your family and friends live, or up to 3 months afterwards.   The bride and groom will also receive a DVD of their special day. To check out some of the weddings they have done go to http://webcasting.cashmanpro.com
