Don’t Shut Off The Car

running carHave you ever heard this from your spouse, “Don’t keep turning the car off and on, it uses to much gas to start it!” Well now I have the answer for you. According to car makers the average car only uses about .004 gallons of gas to start the engine. So what this means is that it is actually cheaper to start the car then leave it running.

Heartburn:  Eating almonds prevents heartburn.  Also dipping lemons in salt and eating them before meals helps heartburn.

Age spots:  Apply vitamin E oil to the spots to reduce brown color.

Asthma:  Mix a glass of 2/3 carrot juice, 1/3 spinach juice, 3 times a day.  Also, try mixing onion juice ¼ cup, honey 1 tablespoon and black pepper 1/8 tablespoon.

Bad Breath:  Add Lemon juice to a glass of water and use as a rinse.  Or chew a few parsley leaves.

Crazy Uses For Coca-Cola

  • To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains.
  • To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
  • To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
  • To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl. Let the “real thing” sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
  • To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
