Flowers top the list of what men are thinking about buying for that special woman for Valentines this year. A card, candy, an evening out and jewelry are other favorites.
Guys, these are all good ideas and pretty tried and true. But, something with more thought to it could go a long way too. A new book by her favorite author. A day at the spa. A romantic hand written note telling her why she is so special to you.

my husband did a mix of those last year, it was really sweet:
he gave me roses and a teddy bear and wrote a me a love note and at the end it says “I will love you until the last rose dies”…and he had put a fake rose in with all the real ones. I thought it was really sweet and romantic
